Winning International, the world's largest bauxite transportation company, withdraws from the International Aluminum Association
The International Aluminum Association updated its membership list for the new year and announced on January 4 that Winning International Group, the world's largest bauxite transportation company, has withdrawn from the association.
"Winning is no longer a member of the International Aluminum Association," said the London Secretariat of the International Aluminum Association. The International Aluminum Association website no longer lists Winning International as a member.

Winning International Group, headquartered in Singapore, became the second company to leave the International Aluminum Association in the past six months. Previously, China Hongqiao Group, the world's largest private aluminum producer, withdrew in mid-2020.
Prior to this, the output of the members of the International Aluminum Association accounted for more than 60% of the total output of global aluminum metal, bauxite and alumina raw materials.
Winning International has long been transporting bauxite to Hongqiao Group in Shandong, and both companies are partners of the Winning Alliance consortium that mines bauxite in Guinea.
The International Aluminum Association, dedicated to expanding the aluminum market, was established in 1972 and currently has 25 members, including Aluminum Corporation of China, Alcoa, Norwegian Hydro, Rio Tinto and Rusal.
